Possibly the biggest myth in personal wealth creation is that you should focus on one thing for your income. We are all trained (I wanted to use the word “brainwashed” but I resisted :) into believing that in order to be successful you need to train in a chosen profession. Then get a “good job” within that industry and slog your way up the corporate ladder. In other words we are all programmed to compete and succeed at the rat race by our parents, the school system and our peers.
