There could be many different reasons as to why you’re email address is labeled as invalid. You most likely use that email address every day without knowing there is an issue with it.
When an email address is coming back as invalid, this means you could be missing out on some important emails, this is one of the main reason we verify all customers emails directly at the point of entry.
Another reason we do this is to proactively clean all emails within our system from bogus and misspelled emails (a couple of many different reasons), to stop them in their tracks, before they are added.
We do this because we don’t want you to miss out on any of our important emails, such as order details, confirmation emails, site notifications, etc. When an email address bounces, this can also damage our email sending reputation, therefore, we cannot take this risk.
We use a real-time email verification service from the industry's number 1 trusted solution which can be located at Neverbonuce.com. To test your email to see if it passes our test, you can do a test here.
Our email checker verifies emails based on a number of methods. After verification, an email address gets one of three statuses:
Valid email address: This means an email is correct and exists.
Unverifiable (Risky) email address: This means the email address can receive messages but due to a domain-wide setting, it is not possible to determine the true validity of such email, so we mark them as Unverifiable. Such emails are also known as “catch-all'” or “accept-all” emails.
Invalid email address: This means an email address does not exist or is not active anymore.
Unknown: This means the SMTP server is taking too much time to respond. This could be due to several reasons on the domains/emails server. Sometimes receiving mail servers responds very slowly or may temporarily be unable to process requests. In this case, the email address will be marked Unknown. (e.g. Inbox full, server configuration, etc)
Conclusion
We recommend using a different email address and we also recommend taking a look further into your email address to see what the real issue is behind it.
We’re sorry for the inconvenience this has caused, and I hope this helps. If you have any questions, you can always contact our support team.
